Keynote Speaker: Catherine Glenn Foster, M.A., J.D, President and CEO of Americans United for Life
Catherine Foster is President & CEO of Americans United for Life. Foster has a longstanding relationship with AUL, as she served as Legal Fellow at AUL while in law school, and cofounded Advocates for Life. Before rejoining AUL as President & CEO, Foster spent seven years with Alliance Defending Freedom, founded and managed a law practice focused on respect for human life, and served as Executive Director of Euthanasia Prevention Coalition USA. Foster serves as President of the Board of Directors for Rockville Pregnancy Clinic, is a member of the Board for And Then There Were None and Christian Legal Society D.C. Metro Chapter, and is an advisory board member for Stanton Healthcare.
Foster has litigated on abortion and maternal health, health and safety regulations, euthanasia and assisted suicide, denial of medical care, First Amendment rights, genetic engineering issues, conscience protections, and more. Foster is admitted to the bar in VA, DC, the U.S. Supreme Court, and numerous other federal courts. She is a member of the American Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association, a member of the Federalist Society Founders Club, Senior Fellow in Legal Policy at the Charlotte Lozier Institute, and admitted to the bars of the District of Columbia and Virginia, a fellow with the James Wilson Institute on Natural Rights and the American Founding. Foster earned her J.D. at Georgetown University Law Center, and also holds an M.A. in French from the University of South Florida and a B.A. in History and French from Berry College.
