1. Establish your dates of travel.

• Will you attend all the National March for Life events? Can you only afford a day trip? How can you make the most of your time and budget?

2. Book your transportation.

3. Book accommodation.

4. Advertise the event.

• In your classroom, over the morning announcements, in the school newspaper, in your parish/church, in the chaplain’s office, social media, posters, pro-life speakers, etc.

Travel: 56-seater bus leaves at 8am on May 8th and leaves at 6pm on May 10th 2024 – $10457

Accommodations: Hampton Inn (Ottawa Conference and Events Centre), 15 double-bed rooms, 2 nights- $7770

Tickets for the Rose Dinner: $75 x 56 attendees – $4200

Tickets for Youth Summit: $75 x 56 attendees – $4200

Total : $26,627 / 56 = $475.48 per person

Sample Itinerary:

Wednesday, May 8th:

6 AM – Leave from Toronto (school/church) and board bus.

12 PM – Arrive in Ottawa, check into hotel

9 PM – Candlelight Vigil at Human Rights Monument

Thursday, May 9th:

10 AM – Attend National Mass for Life at Notre Dame

12 PM – March for Life Rally

1 PM – March for Life begins

6 PM – 9 PM – Rose Dinner

Friday May 10th:

8 AM – Mass

9 AM – 2:30 PM- Youth Summit

3 PM – Board bus

9 PM – Arrive back in Toronto
