New iStandOnGuard.ca campaign aims to engage the pro-life movement to help smash attendance records at the 2017 National March For Life
Toronto, April 11, 2017 – With the National March for Life just a month away, Campaign Life Coalition has launched istandonguard.ca, a website that encourages Canadians from coast to coast to pledge their support for the march and to do their small part in promoting human rights for every human being, from the time of conception until natural death.
“At a time when our nation celebrates its 150th birthday, this awareness campaign allows Canadians to re-affirm their belief in the inherent dignity of every human being and re-commit themselves to the pro-life cause,” said Jim Hughes, national president of Campaign Life Coalition. “In addition to signing the pledge, the website provides them with tools to share information about the march and to help organize trips to Ottawa. This is more than just signing a pledge, it’s the first step of becoming involved.”
In addition to signing the pledge, Canadians can also use this platform to send a postcard to their Member of Parliament inviting them to show up to the March.
“There are many Canadians who can’t travel to Ottawa to attend the National March for Life but still want to support it and help it grow”, said Mary Ellen Douglas, national organizer for Campaign Life Coalition. “Istandonguard.ca was created to give those people the opportunity to add their voice to the tens of thousands of voices that will gather on Parliament Hill on May 11th.
